What is Lash Extensions?

• The duration of lashes depends on the type and method of application.
• Classic or individual lashes are semi-permanent and last anywhere between 4-6 weeks when applied correctly by a technician.
• They may require refills around 2 to 3 weeks after the first appointment.
• The natural growth cycle of the lashes also affects how long they last, as they may fall out or shed around the 6th week mark.
• Individual lashes applied at home with glue are only supposed to last as long as the makeup, about 10-12 hours at most, and may come off with water or tears.

Here are the general steps of the process:

• Your clinician will gently cleanse both your eyes.
• To avoid accidentally gluing your natural lower lashes to your upper ones, your clinician will tape your lower lashes to your skin with surgical tape.
• Isolate your natural lashes, typically with a tweezer or other device.
• An artificial lash from 5D Elipse Lashes Mix Tray 8-13mm will be adhered to the top of the isolated lash with a tiny drop of glue.
• Repeat this process for the entire lid of both eyes.
• Close the eye which is receiving the lashes for the procedure.
